Shelled Mung beans are a staple Indian food and are used in many different ways in Indian cuisine. Golden Chef’s yellowish mung beans are excellent for preparing numerous dal dishes. These mung beans are particularly popular with vegetarians and are an important protein supplier. Indian dosa (crunchy pancakes) are also made from mung beans (flour). Deep-fry the Golden Chef Peeled Mung Beans and then use them as a garnish for sticky rice with mango or for the Singaporean dish tan suan (sweet soup)
